Waste Connections is hiring an accounting professional to perform monthly financial close activities, reconcile general ledger accounts, analyze variances and forecasts, review rates, manage accounting data for decentralized field offices, support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, participate in budgeting, and train non-financial personnel. The role requires a BS/BA in Accounting, intermediate-to-advanced Excel and accounting-system skills, strong communication, and preferably two years of public accounting experience.
