Description
The Assistant Cook supports the head chef and kitchen team by preparing ingredients and mise en place, helping prepare and plate dishes, making salads, cold platters, garnishes, and simple dishes, monitoring product quality and freshness, maintaining kitchen order and hygiene, and assisting during busy service. The role offers a professional kitchen environment, fair pay, the possibility of a permanent contract after a successful temporary period, and opportunities to develop culinary skills. Prior assistant cook or kitchen assistant experience is a plus but not required, and the position requires teamwork, stress management, hygiene awareness, flexibility, and a variable schedule.
