Description
Save the Children is hiring an Assistant Cook/Food Transporter to support Head Start and Early Head Start meal programs. The role prepares, serves, documents, and transports meals and snacks for children, maintains food inventory and kitchen standards, follows USDA/CACFP and Head Start requirements, and delivers meals to satellite sites. It is available as full-time regular or part-time regular work, requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus at least two years of related food-service experience, a valid driver's license, and at least 21 years of age, and pays $15 per hour.
