Description
The Assistant County Attorney serves as counsel for the State of New Hampshire in criminal matters, researching case law, drafting indictments, complaints, and pleadings, presenting cases to the Grand Jury, and conducting bench trials, jury trials, and related hearings. The role also coordinates with victim and witness coordinators and collaborates with police, the public, and court staff. It is a full-time exempt position requiring a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and admission to the New Hampshire Bar Association.
