Alice L. Walton School of Medicine is hiring an Assistant Dean, Foundational Sciences to lead the design, delivery, integration, assessment, and continuous improvement of foundational sciences across its four-year ARCHES medical curriculum. The role oversees pre-clerkship courses and high-stakes testing, supports integration into clerkships and electives, teaches medical students, develops faculty, participates in accreditation and scholarly activities, and chairs curriculum subcommittees. It is a full-time, on-site leadership position in Bentonville, Arkansas, requiring an MD, DO, PhD, MD/PhD, or equivalent, at least five years of educator-scholar experience at an LCME-accredited medical school, and prior course director experience.
