Description
Metro-North Railroad is hiring an Assistant Deputy Director for C&S Projects and Technical Support in the Maintenance of Way department, based in North White Plains. The role leads and controls wayside signal and PTC infrastructure installation, revisions, scheduling, resource allocation, testing, commissioning, cost and budget analysis, safety compliance, and coordination with capital programs and third-party projects. It also manages and develops Signal Construction management staff, supervisory personnel, and agreement forces. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering curriculum, at least seven years of wayside signal construction and project management experience, and at least five years managing a professional staff; it is DOT-regulated, safety-sensitive, and telework eligible.
