Macy’s is hiring an Assistant Designer to support the Design Team in researching categories, trends, and customer preferences; developing materials, trims, silhouettes, colors, and patterns; creating flat mechanical sketches and tech packages; reviewing samples; and collaborating with cross-functional partners throughout the product development cycle. The role requires research, presentation, collaboration, technical, communication, and PLM skills, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred and retail or design internship experience preferred.
