Description
The Assistant Center Director supports the Center Director in leading teaching staff, families, enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives at an early childhood education center. The role partners with parents, builds relationships with teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners, and may serve as a teacher, cook, or driver as needed. Candidates need at least two years of early childhood education experience, strong communication and organizational skills, CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it, and the ability to meet state guidelines and perform physically demanding work. The role pays $23.55–$27.45 per hour, with an additional $3.00 per hour premium for classroom hours in Minnesota, and includes medical, dental, vision, child care, paid time off, and other benefits.
