Project Renewal is hiring an Assistant Director for its Empire Men’s Shelter, a 110-bed emergency shelter for homeless men. The role coordinates daily shelter operations under the Program Director, supervises Shift Supervisors and Residential Aides, ensures safety and compliance with DHS and OTDA standards, oversees incident reporting and emergency drills, supports case conferences and claims documentation, and responds to emergencies on a 24/7/365 basis. The position requires a bachelor’s, associate’s, or high school diploma/GED with substantial experience working with homeless individuals and managing residential services, along with leadership, communication, organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills.
