Project Renewal is hiring an Assistant Director for its Canopy House Women’s shelter, which provides emergency shelter beds and comprehensive services for homeless women with mental illness and/or substance use disorders. The role supervises Residential Aides and shift supervisors, monitors safety and security, oversees incident reporting and emergency preparedness, supports case conferences and program documentation, and responds to emergencies on a 24/7 basis. A bachelor’s degree and two years of experience working with homeless, mentally ill, and substance-using populations are preferred, along with staff-management, case-management software, Microsoft Office, and communication skills.
