Description
The Engineering Department Manager assists the department head in managing budgets, capital expenditures, preventative maintenance, energy conservation, and the physical plant. The role supervises engineering operations, repair work orders, equipment and inventory, safety and regulatory compliance, grounds, and facilities; coordinates with other departments; and supports employee and guest service through training and staffing oversight. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED with four years of engineering and maintenance experience, or a two-year degree with two years of experience, plus technical training in HVAC-R, electrical, or plumbing.
