Victor Valley College is hiring an Assistant Director of Maintenance and Operations to assist the Director of Maintenance and Operations in planning, organizing, overseeing, and managing the department’s facilities maintenance, custodial, grounds, warehouse, recycling, energy conservation, preventive maintenance, safety, and related programs. The role supervises professional, technical, and administrative support staff, develops policies and procedures, evaluates performance, coordinates safety and hazardous-material programs, and prepares reports. It requires an associate degree or equivalent training, five years of increasingly experienced maintenance and operations work including two years in a lead or supervisory capacity, and a valid California driver’s license. The position is exempt under the FLSA, includes district-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, and does not offer visa sponsorship.
