Description
GovTech is hiring an Assistant Director, Engineering Management (Platform Infrastructure) to lead the engineering, automation, resiliency, and operational maturity of critical infrastructure platforms supporting large-scale digital services. The role provides technical leadership across cloud platforms, Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, observability, platform modernisation, and production reliability; it also involves mentoring engineers, setting standards, managing complex incidents, and partnering with security, operations, and application teams. The position requires a relevant degree, strong infrastructure and cloud operations experience, and expertise in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD, GitOps, and SRE practices.
