CSUN is hiring an Assistant Director to oversee the daily operations of its Electrical Shop and Carpenter Shop, including construction, remodeling, and repair projects across campus. The role supervises approximately 25 bargaining-unit staff and student assistants, coordinates contractors and other campus teams, monitors project schedules and budgets, and ensures compliance with university policies and safety standards. Applicants need a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, five years of progressively responsible professional experience in construction, facilities management, and supervision, and strong leadership, budgeting, project-management, and trade-coordination skills. The position is full-time in Northridge, California, with an anticipated hiring range of $110,000 to $122,100 per year.
