Description

The Assistant Distribution Engineer will assist a licensed professional engineer and project team with the design, preparation, and construction support of 2.4kV to 34.5kV overhead and underground utility distribution projects. Responsibilities include developing voltage packages, distribution equipment plans, sketches, cost estimates, bills of materials, calculations, field inspections, vegetation and right-of-way coordination, client presentations, and project data compilation. The role requires a bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering or a related engineering degree with successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam; an ABET-accredited program, internship or consulting experience, distribution design software experience, and EIT certification are preferred. Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the country where the position is located.
