Description
The Assistant District Materials Manager supports the District Materials Manager by overseeing materials testing, inspections, documentation, design reviews, material monitoring, bridge material oversight, winter operations, plant and quarry assessments, and quality assurance activities for transportation projects. The role also supervises staff, approves leave and payroll, and provides training guidance. It is a full-time position with a 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday-Friday schedule, with possible part-time ad-hoc telework after the probationary period and an option to report to the Montoursville headquarters office. The starting annual salary is $60,538 before taxes, and applicants must meet specified transportation inspection experience or training requirements, hold a Class C non-commercial driver's license, and satisfy Pennsylvania residency requirements.
