The role supports and conducts ecology surveys, protected-species surveys, tender preparation, and ecological deliverables such as Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Ecological Management Plans, Protected Species Reports, European Protected Species licence applications, Ecological Impact Assessments, Biodiversity chapters, and Habitats Regulations Assessments. Candidates should have an ecology or related academic qualification, CIEEM qualifying Member status or eligibility, relevant survey and protected-species experience, knowledge of wildlife legislation and survey methodologies, a full UK driving licence, and strong communication and independent-working skills.
