Description
The Assistant Electrical Engineer will perform electrical engineering work for NYC Parks projects, including power distribution, lighting, security lighting, fire detection, and communication systems. Responsibilities include developing drawings, specifications, and quantity estimates; managing electrical engineering projects; coordinating with the Department of Transportation Division of Street Lighting; reviewing consultant projects; conducting field inspections; and providing engineering designs and research. The role is based at Olmsted Center, Queens, and requires an electrical engineering degree plus either one year of full-time satisfactory experience or a master’s degree in electrical engineering.
