Description
The Assistant Project Manager provides general management for electrical construction projects under the guidance of a Project or Group Manager and oversees staff. Responsibilities include contacting vendors, planning and staffing projects, reviewing estimates, maintaining employee relations, conducting performance reviews, visiting job sites, and coordinating with crews, customers, foremen, and general contractors. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering, at least 1–2 years of experience in electrical construction, project management, or a related field, and 15–20% travel. Microsoft Office proficiency is required, while Accubid, AutoCAD, and electrical components knowledge are preferred.
