Description
Kier is hiring an Assistant Engineer - Structures to support the Design Team on highways structures projects for National Highways, TfL, and the South Wales Trunk Road Agency. The role involves preparing technical designs, documents, and drawings; undertaking site visits and structure inspections; completing CDM documentation; and supporting schemes from initial investigation through construction. It is based in London, Birmingham, or Manchester, with remote working available and occasional office travel required. The position requires a degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, experience with structures design, DMRB and MCHW standards, health and safety management, and CDM Regulations, and offers career development, mentorship, and support toward chartered status.
