Description
The Assistant Engineering Supervisor assists the Engineering Supervisor and Director of Facilities in supervising and coordinating staff who operate, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot museum mechanical, plumbing, heating, cooling, humidification, and building automation systems. The role includes managing the Building Automation System and Computerized Maintenance Management System, analyzing work schedules and budgets, controlling purchasing, managing staff schedules, enforcing safety rules, and responding to emergencies. It requires an associate's degree or equivalent in HVAC, one to two years of experience or training, and a CFC Refrigeration certificate, with prior HVAC, building maintenance, and automated computer-systems experience required. The position pays $31.25 per hour for a 40-hour work week and includes medical, dental, vision, retirement, disability, and other benefits.
