Description

Health Dimensions Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Executive Director to support the Executive Director at Northern Nevada State Veterans Home in Sparks, Nevada. The role involves leading and supporting community operations, championing quality and operational excellence, developing and supporting the team, and driving financial and business performance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration, a minimum of two years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, and a strong interest in becoming a licensed nursing facility administrator.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Two (2) years of experience within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Preferred Qualifications: Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
Experience with project planning, development, and implementation.
Experience collaborating with healthcare partners and interdisciplinary teams.
Understanding of the operational and financial components of skilled nursing and long-term care.
Knowledge of state, federal, and local regulations applicable to skilled nursing and long-term care.
Computer proficiency and comfort working with technology and business systems.
Strong potential for leadership and team development, with the ability to build trust and establish positive working relationships.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
Ability to work effectively under pressure within a fast-paced skilled nursing environment.
Ability to take initiative, work independently, and follow through on responsibilities.
Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across departments and as part of an interdisciplinary leadership team.
