Description
The Assistant Field Operations Manager will support railroad emergency response and field service operations across Allentown, Pennsylvania and Candor, North Carolina. The role provides hands-on leadership to supervisors and field teams, coordinates safety, quality, productivity, schedule, and budget performance, responds to emergency service calls, supports customer and regulatory relationships, and assists with workforce planning, payroll, equipment maintenance, and training. The position requires frequent overnight travel, on-call availability, outdoor work in all weather, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
