The Wesleyan Athletic Department, a member of the NESCAC, sponsors 30 varsity sports and aims to integrate athletics into a liberal arts education. Reporting to the head coach, the assistant football coach will focus on training session planning, player evaluation, recruitment, and overall team operation improvements. Key responsibilities include coaching (75%), administrative tasks (25%), and specific roles such as assisting with instruction, evaluating athlete performance, overseeing recruiting efforts, and managing academic support.
