Acrisure is hiring an Assistant General Counsel - North American Insurance to advise on wholesale brokerage, MGA, MGU, program administration, surplus lines, insurance distribution, regulatory, contractual, and reputational matters. The role will draft and negotiate commercial agreements, develop legal templates and playbooks, evaluate risks, support acquisitions and integrations, and collaborate with compliance, regulatory affairs, and operations. Candidates need an active U.S. law license, five to eight years of legal experience, and significant insurance distribution experience; in-house insurance experience, insurance-sector M&A, multi-state regulatory experience, and third-party claims administration experience are preferred. The position is hybrid and offers a base salary of $171,700 to $232,300 plus medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
