Description
The Assistant General Counsel will advise management and human resources on employment law, compliance, risk management, recruiting, employee relations, wage and hour, EEO, compensation, benefits, and other employment matters. The role also handles restrictive covenant and other contractual matters, represents the firm in civil, regulatory, and governmental litigation, coordinates investigations and settlements, and manages outside counsel. It requires a Juris Doctorate, at least 10 years of litigation experience, at least 8 years of employment law litigation and agency defense experience, at least 5 years of law-firm litigation experience, a bar license in good standing, and Microsoft Office proficiency. The national and Maryland salary range is $275,000 to $330,000.
