Description
Marqeta is hiring an Assistant General Counsel, Corporate to serve as a senior member of its Corporate Legal team and the right hand to the Deputy General Counsel. The role owns SEC reporting and disclosure workstreams, including 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statement, and shareholder meeting materials; supports the Board and its committees; administers insider trading and equity compensation compliance; and advises on corporate transactions and governance. The position is flexible-first and can be performed remotely anywhere in the United States or from the Oakland office. Candidates need a J.D., active U.S. bar membership, 10–15 years of legal experience focused on public company securities and governance, and substantial SEC filing and board-support experience. Compensation ranges from $239,200 to $326,200 depending on location tier, with health insurance and other benefits.
