Balt is hiring an Assistant General Counsel, Intellectual Property to manage the global intellectual property function and advise business, R&D, engineering, and executive leadership. The role covers IP strategy, patent and trademark portfolio management, patentability and freedom-to-operate assessments, trade secrets, IP disputes and litigation, technology transactions, due diligence, competitive surveillance, employee training, and outside counsel management. Candidates need a J.D., 10+ years of experience, a relevant engineering or technical degree, and experience with patent prosecution, technology transactions, and IP litigation. The position is remote and pays $250,000–$275,000 USD.
