Description
Coherent Corp. is seeking a corporate M&A attorney to serve as the primary legal adviser for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, joint ventures, equity investments, and related strategic transactions. The role supports corporate development and integration teams, handling transaction structuring, drafting and negotiating deal documents, legal due diligence, governance approvals, regulatory and cross-functional issues, integration, and post-closing implementation. It requires a Juris Doctor, active U.S. bar membership, and at least six years of law firm experience focused on M&A and strategic transactions, with public-company and multinational in-house experience preferred. The position operates in a hybrid office environment and may require domestic and international travel and extended hours.
