Le Pain Quotidien is hiring an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager and lead a full-service restaurant from the floor. The role owns people development, guest experience, service operations, labor deployment, food quality and safety, inventory, food cost, waste, ordering, COGS, and P&L performance, while preparing the leader for future General Manager opportunities. Candidates need at least two years of restaurant leadership experience, a NYC Food Handlers License, and the ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds; Spanish, French, or Arabic proficiency is a plus. The position offers daytime hours, medical, dental, and vision benefits, PTO, a 401(k) match, life insurance, commuter benefits, pet insurance, and team member discounts, with an annualized salary range of $64,000-$70,000 plus a bonus.
