Description
The Assistant Golf Professional supports the Head Golf Professional across golf shop merchandising, tournament operations, instruction, member relations, scheduling, training, tee-time administration, handicap programs, and golf activities. The role also includes providing lessons and clinics, managing the practice facility and related equipment, representing the club at professional events, operating golf operations in the Head Professional’s absence, and assisting with staff hiring and termination. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, PGA Class A membership or registration in the PGA Professional Golf Management Program is preferred, and at least two years of Assistant Golf Professional experience at a private or resort facility is required.
