Description
The Early Childhood Teacher is responsible for supervising and developing young children in a classroom setting, including monitoring safety, documenting development, supporting independence, managing behavior, communicating with families, serving meals, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and completing required training. The role requires a high school diploma or GED plus 2,500 hours of experience working with children, or college credit in early childhood education or a related field plus the same experience, and is based at YWCA York Headquarters, the York Suburban School District, and the Northeastern School District.
