Red Rabbit is hiring a full-time Assistant Head Chef in Queens, New York, to serve as second-in-command to the Head Chef and manage daily kitchen operations for 300–500 students. The role includes preparing breakfast, lunch, and snacks; maintaining food safety and sanitation; controlling inventory and consumption; and supporting production and the kitchen team. Candidates need at least one year of professional culinary experience, food safety knowledge, strong communication and organization, and a Food Handler’s Certification or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire. The position pays $22.50–$27.50 per hour plus benefits.
