Red Rabbit is hiring a full-time Assistant Head Chef in LIC, New York to support the Head Chef in operating a commissary kitchen that prepares breakfast, lunch, and snacks for hundreds of students. The role includes executing production, maintaining food safety, leading portions of daily operations, managing stations and inventory, and training kitchen team members. Candidates need at least two years of professional culinary experience, food-handler certification, strong communication and organization, and knowledge of food safety; bilingual English-Spanish ability and NSLP familiarity are preferred. Compensation is $22.50–$27.50 per hour plus benefits.
