Ball State University is seeking a full-time non-tenure track Assistant Lecturer of Interior Design for the Department of Construction Management and Interior Design. The primary responsibility includes teaching 12 credit hours per semester in interior design, assisting in course development, and contributing to departmental services. Candidates should hold a Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, along with three years of design industry experience.

Required Previous Experiences: Three years of experience in the design industry.
Experience at the managerial/professional level.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in interior design, architecture, or closely related field.
Experience with design software programs: Revit, CAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion, etc..
Experience in design build.
Experience in construction management.
Licensure and/or certification in interior design (NCIDQ), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Professional (LEED-AP), or closely related field.
A record of successful teaching experience, as demonstrated through reappointment to teaching positions, student evaluations, peer evaluations and/or administrative evaluations.
More than five years of experience in design and/or the interior design industry.
Effective oral and written communication.
