Description
The Assistant Service Manager supervises all service personnel and performs managerial, supervisory, coordination, and administrative duties in the absence of the Service Manager. The role also handles mechanical, construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, tile, carpentry, welding, and other maintenance and repair work, including service calls, preventative maintenance, and occasional lawn, pool, and carpet care. The position is full-time, non-exempt, based in the Sherwood Crossing community in Mechanicsville, Virginia, and requires mechanical aptitude, relevant HVAC and fair-housing certifications, and a valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle.
