The Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in operating an El Pollo Loco restaurant, overseeing opening and closing procedures, labor scheduling, inventory, food deliveries, customer service, cleanliness, food safety, and team member development. The role requires a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, Serve Safe certification, and either SPECS certification or 2–4 years of restaurant supervisory experience.
