Petco is hiring a full-time Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running a Pet Care Center. The role leads store partners, coaches employees, manages sales and operational performance, oversees inventory and merchandising, handles escalated customer concerns, and steps into leadership when the General Manager is absent. Candidates need at least two years of retail experience, including supervisory or management experience, along with strong communication, problem-solving, and point-of-sale skills; pet-care knowledge is preferred. The position is primarily on the sales floor in an indoor retail environment and requires flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
