Description
The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager by supervising and managing all assigned areas of a Ross retail store and leads the entire store operation in the Store Manager’s absence. The role covers scheduling, payroll administration, recruiting and training Associates, expense control, safety and regulatory compliance, customer service, merchandising, inventory and merchandise processing, loss prevention, and direct supervision of non-exempt Associates. It requires at least two years of retail Store or Assistant Store Manager experience, strong supervisory and communication abilities, English fluency, schedule flexibility for evenings and weekends, and the ability to perform the physical demands of a store environment.
