Description
Southern Water is recruiting a permanent Assistant Manager for its Wastewater Asset Maintenance and Standards operations in Falmer, East Sussex. The role plans and manages repairs, inspections, and maintenance on treatment works and networks; supports complex works planning; manages the team in the absence of Field Performance Managers; and completes statutory health, safety, and environmental audits. It requires a full driving licence, electrical and mechanical trade experience in a regulated environment, strong communication and IT skills, and knowledge of environmental policy, waste management licensing, and health and safety legislation. The role is based in Falmer with travel across the area, follows a Monday–Friday schedule with call-out duties, and pays up to £41,000 depending on skills and experience.
