Description

Maxwell Energy Systems is hiring an Assistant Manager – End of Line Hardware Testing & Maintenance to lead EOL and Functional Circuit Test (FCT) engineering at its Aurangabad manufacturing facility. The role owns production test systems from concept through commissioning and mass production, including test strategies, fixtures, instrumentation, automation, validation, failure analysis, and continuous improvement. It requires 5+ years of hardware test engineering experience, strong electronics and troubleshooting skills, and experience with LabVIEW or Python, CAN interfaces, and production test equipment.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (ECE/EEE) or equivalent practical experience
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of hands-on experience in hardware test engineering, EOL/FCT development and maintenance, preferably in a production environment
Experience developing and maintaining automated test systems, fixtures, and production test equipment
Experience defining test sequences, test cases, measurement methods, limits, and pass/fail criteria
Experience with EOL/FCT test systems, fixtures, instrumentation, and production debugging
Experience working with Production, Quality, Hardware, and Firmware teams to resolve manufacturing and product issues
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with automotive electronics, BMS, EV chargers, motor controllers, or other EV products
Experience developing test systems for high-volume manufacturing
Experience with NI hardware, DAQ systems, PXI/PXIe, switching matrices, electronic loads, power supplies, and other automated test instrumentation
Experience with ICT, FCT, EOL, and production validation methodologies
Familiarity with CAN tools and automotive diagnostic/testing protocols
Experience working with external test-fixture and automation vendors
Understanding of Design for Testability and manufacturing test optimization
Experience reducing test cycle time, improving first-pass yield, and increasing test coverage
