Description
The Assistant Mechanical Engineer supports licensed professional engineers and project teams through the conceptual, design, construction, and completion phases of power, process, industrial, healthcare, pipeline, airport, institutional, commercial, governmental, and military projects. Responsibilities include mechanical design, production drawing modification and review, component design, CAD and BIM drawing corrections, shop drawing and contract administration, client presentations, field inspections, measurements, and calculations. The role requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, basic mechanical engineering knowledge, proficiency with AutoCAD, BIM, 3D rendering, hydraulic and HVAC analysis tools, and strong communication, analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
