Description
The Emergency Department Nurse Manager supervises and directs nursing activities in an inpatient emergency department, coordinates clinical programs, oversees quality, compliance, performance improvement, staffing, and nursing standards, and provides direct patient care as needed. The role requires an accredited nursing degree, California RN licensure, BLS, and department-specific ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications, along with five years of recent relevant experience. It is a full-time day/evening position with variable days and weekend requirements as needed, and offers an annual salary of $207,750.40 to $290,825.60.
