Description
The Charge Nurse supervises staff and unit operations, provides direct patient care for more than 50% of the time, and coordinates patient assignments, rounds, admissions, discharges, transfers, and interdepartmental care. The role also supports staff development, mentoring, performance management, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and unit projects. It requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or an alternative nursing education pathway, a current RN license, and two years of RN experience; management experience is preferred. The position is based at Laurens County Hospital in Laurens County, United States, with a variable work shift.
