Description
The Assistant Operations Manager supervises terminal operations at the Port of Virginia, overseeing labor, equipment, safety, regulatory compliance, cost control, workforce efficiency, and coordination with ocean carriers, motor carriers, railroads, ship agents, stevedores, and internal stakeholders. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, a Transportation Worker Identification Credential, transportation or operations experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to work any assigned shift in a 24-hour operation.
