Description
The Assistant Operator – Manufacturing supports the Lead Operator in safely and efficiently operating manufacturing equipment and production processes. Responsibilities include machine setup, material handling, quality inspections, production documentation, packaging, labeling, equipment monitoring, basic troubleshooting, changeovers, preventive maintenance support, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. The role requires the ability to follow work instructions, perform basic measurements and documentation, operate tools and equipment safely, communicate production issues, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. A high school diploma or GED and manufacturing or production experience are preferred but not required.
