Wabtec is hiring an Assistant Operator for its Rail Flaw Detection (RFD) Team to operate and maintain rail inspection vehicles while supporting rail flaw detection activities. The role involves driving inspection vehicles on road and rail, assisting the Chief Operator, marking defective rails, maintaining the ultrasonic testing carriage and vehicle, completing driver and vehicle documentation, and performing light mechanical repairs. It requires a high school diploma or GED, professional driving experience, mechanical ability, computer skills, and frequent extended travel, with a starting pay of $22 per hour.
