Description
First Nations University of Canada is hiring a full-time tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in Indigenous Studies at its Regina Campus. The role involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, developing curriculum, conducting research and scholarly activity, mentoring students, and serving the university, academic community, and Indigenous communities. Applicants should have a PhD in Indigenous Studies or be ABD with anticipated completion within two years, along with subject expertise, teaching potential, research or professional activity, and experience working with Indigenous communities. The position may be appointed at the Associate Professor level depending on qualifications and experience, and salary is determined by the FNUniv/URFA Academic Collective Agreement.
