Description
O-I is hiring an Assistant Plant Engineer to assist the Plant Engineer in directing salaried and hourly personnel and overseeing plant engineering activities, including installation, repair and maintenance of plant systems, equipment, grounds and facilities. The role includes preventive maintenance, contractor coordination, inspections, shift operations decisions, and downtime reduction. Required qualifications include industrial electrical experience, maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing facility, and a high school diploma or equivalent combined with relevant work experience; engineering education is preferred. The position is associated with O-I’s Brockway and Crenshaw plants and offers a salary range of $91,330 to $115,000 plus a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus.
