Description
The Pellet Mill Operator will work a rotating 12-hour night shift from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., operating and adjusting pellet mills and dryers, regulating material mixes, monitoring moisture and density, troubleshooting equipment, maintaining feed rates, and completing daily production reports. The role also includes covering breaks, learning multiple positions, facility cleaning, and working where needed. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with one to two years of industrial production experience; process controls experience, forklift certification, mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to perform simple calculations are also required. The position pays $20.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential and includes medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
